The Michael J. Dunleavy Foundation, Inc. was established in 2002 in loving memory of Michael James Dunleavy, who bravely faced an inoperable tumor at just eight years old. Even during his illness, Michael expressed a wish that other children might be spared the suffering he endured. That wish became the inspiration for this foundation.
